Obituary
“BROCKTON, Jan. 21 – Dr Dalva H. Swope, 58 years old, one of the best known physicians here, where he had practiced 37 years, died this morning at his home, 232 Perkins av, of a complications of diseases, among them heart trouble.

Dr Swope was born at Hagerstown, Md, and immediately after his graduation from the Boston University Medical School moved to Brockton, where he had since remained. Throughout that period of 37 years he had been a member of Paul Revere Lodge, A. F. & A. M.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Miss Anita Swope; aged parents at Blue Springs, Neb; a brother, Dr Oscar Swope of Kingston, and two sisters, Mrs Emma Kascspeer of Blue Springs, Neb. And Mrs Jennie Palmerston, also of Nebraska.

The funeral will be at his home Saturday at 2 p.m.”
