Nicolas  married  Marie-Anne VIAU 27 June 1785 in L'Acadie, Province of Québec, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 2 children.
Marie-Anne VIAU  was born 1 August 1765 in La Prairie, Québec, Canada (St-Philippe) (St-Jean-François-Régis) (La Nativité).  Marie-Anne died 24 May 1844 in Saint-Jacques-le-Mineur, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Anne was the child of Jacques-François VIAU and Marie-Catherine GAGNÉ.

Nicolas GARAND died 13 October 1847 in Saint-Rémi, Canada East .
