SKOWHEGAN, Feb. 14. - Following a long illness, Chester S. Barker, 38, died at his home on Summer street Tuesday afternoon. He was born in Skowhegan, the son of Harry W. and Gertrude Sedgley Barker. He had been employed as a mechanic and house painter. He was a member of Knights of Pythias.

Besides his wife, formerly Mary Regan, he leaves three children, Evelyn, Lucia and William J.; his parents; a brother, Robert, Massachusetts.
