Mrs. Sigrid M. Clarkson, 72

LEICESTER - Sigrid M. (Swanson) Clarkson, 72, of 30 Pleasant St., died Monday night in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.

Her husband, Raymond J. Clarkson, died in March, 1979.

She leaves two daughters, Lorriane C., wife of Richard E. Jubinville of Cherry Valley, and Marily J. Cote of Oakham, a twin sister, Irene H. Weaver of Auburn, and five granchildren.

She was born in Oyster Bay, N.Y., daughter of Maurice F. and Anna M. (Ohlander) Swanson. Mrs. Clarkson lived in Leicester and in Oakham for 12 years before returning to Leicester three months ago.

Mrs. Clarkson was a member of Oakham Congregational Church, its Ladies Benevolent Society and Friendship Club, and the Pleasant Gardens Association.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Morrison Funeral Home, 1131 Main St. The Rev. David Ellis will officiate. Burial will be in New Swedish Cemetery, Worcester.

Calling hours at the fuenarl home are 7 to 9 tonight.
