Obituary
Ed was born on July 31, 1938 at Booth Hospital in Covington, Kentucky and passed away on September 7, 2023. Ed was the son of Edward Charles Bader and Helen Caldwell Bader. Ed grew up with his sister, Cynthia Bader, in South Fort Mitchell Kentucky. He attended Beachwood High School where he played multiple sports, especially basketball. Ed received a BS in Chemistry and Biology at Eastern Kentucky University in 1960. The draft board got in the way of graduate school, so he joined the US Army Reserve 6 year program, and received an Honorable Discharge on June 30, 1966. In 1961, Ed traveled to California for the adventure of a lifetime and never looked back. He visited a friend working in Hanford, CA. Ed got employment at the Hanford Clinical Laboratory and after 2 years became a Certified Medical Technologist. In 1964, he moved to San Francisco to work at a large Hospital and met his first wife, Marian Elaine Lloyd who was a Registered Nurse. Ed and Marian were married in San Francisco ...Read MORE...
