Joseph  married  Claire MARQUET dite PÉRIGORD 30 January 1775 in Baie-du-Fèbvre, Province of Québec, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 1 child.
Claire MARQUET dite PÉRIGORD  was born 24 January 1750 in Trois-Rivières, Québec, Canada (Three Rivers).  Claire died 26 June 1817 in Mont-Saint-Grégoire, Le Haut-Richelieu, Québec, Canada (Saint-Gregoire-le-Grand).  Claire was the child of François-Régis MARQUET dit PÉRIGORD and Thérèse GARNIER (GRENIER).

Joseph PROULX died 27 January 1826 in Mont-Saint-Grégoire, Le Haut-Richelieu, Lower Canada .
