1953 - On July 27, 1953, the Korean War ended with the signing of an armistice agreement at Panmunjom. Mrs. Florence B. (Mossa) Richford Godwin, 66, of 10 Elm St., Millbury, died Sunday in City Hospital.

Born in Clinton, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Lovely) Mossa, Sr. and lived im Millbury 22 years.

She leaves her husband, Arthur Godwin; two sons, Donald Richford of Oxford and Leonard Richford of Millbury; a daughter, Florence, wife of Roger Benoit of Worcester; two
Brother: s, Frank Mossa, Jr. of Royalston and George Mossa, Sr. of Leicester; two
Sister: s, Mrs. Sylvia Baker in California and Mrs. Mildred Lidonici of Worcester; 13 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held tomorrow from Mulhane HOme for Funerals, 45 Main St. Millbury, with a Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid's Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Millbury.

Calling hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
