Joseph-Nicolas  married  Louise PRUNIER dite VADEBONCOEUR 28 May 1781 in Yamaska, Province of Québec, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 2 children.
Louise PRUNIER dite VADEBONCOEUR  was born 21 August 1763 in Yamaska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska).  Louise died 11 June 1790 in Yamaska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska).  Louise was the child of Martin PRUNIER dit VADEBONCOEUR and Pelagie THIBERT.

Joseph-Nicolas  married  (2) Marie-Anne BROUILLARD 9 January 1792 in Yamaska, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 4 children.
Marie-Anne BROUILLARD  was born 23 April 1764 in Yamaska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska).  Marie-Anne died 8 October 1843 in Saint-Aimé, Québec, Canada (Massueville) (St-Aime).  Marie-Anne was the child of Jacques-Julien BROUILLARD and Marie-Anne HUS MILET (MILLET) BEAUCHEMIN.

Joseph-Nicolas THERRIEN died 9 April 1845 in Saint-Aimé, Canada East .
