Saint-Aimé is a parish municipality that extends over an area of more than 61 square kilometers, in the administrative region of Montérégie. Saint-Aimé is part of the regional county municipality of Pierre-de-Saurel – former MRC du Bas-Richelieu.

The parish of Saint-Aimé, located southeast of Sorel on the Yamaska River, is a typical rural municipality surrounded by superb landscapes. Its name recalls Mr. Aignan-Aimé Massue, Lord of Bonsecours.

In Quebec, dairy businesses in Saint-Aimé are among the most prosperous.

The Saint-Aimé town hall post box is located in Massueville, a neighboring town.
