Germain was deported as part of the Acadian Exile / Grand Derangement around 1755.

He married  Marie GRANGER 3 November 1717 in Saint-Charles-des-Mines, Acadia .  The couple had (at least) 10 children. Marie GRANGER  was born abt. 1697 in Annapolis Royal, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada / Port Royal, Acadia.  She died bef 14 August 1763 She was the daughter of René GRANGER and Marguerite THÉRIOT (THÉRIAULT).
