Louis-Augustin  married  Marie-Josephte PION dite LAFONTAINE 8 November 1751 in Verchères, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 5 children.
Marie-Josephte PION dite LAFONTAINE  was born 28 May 1718 in Contrecœur, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Trinité-de-Contrecoeur).  Marie-Josephte died 24 July 1781 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, Saint-Hyacinthe-le-Confesseur).  Marie-Josephte was the child of Maurice PION dit LAFONTAINE and Marie-Thérèse CHICOINE.

Louis-Augustin COTE died 1 December 1811 in Saint-Louis de Richelieu, Lower Canada .
