"Pierre Lanoue (1683-1754) Born 21 November in Dol, Bretany. On 21 November 1702, married Marie Granger in Port-Royal born in 1680, daughter of Laurent et Marie Landry. Deceased in Lorembec, Cap Breton 15 January. He was probably half farmer half fisherman. Marie probably went in exile with one of their sons."
