Marie Modeste  married  Louis MOUTON abt. 1760 in Acadia .  The couple had (at least) 3 children.
Louis MOUTON  was born abt. 1737 in Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada (Beaubassin, Acadia) (Fort Lawrence).  Louis died abt. 1817 in Louisiana, USA.  Louis was the child of Jean MOUTON and Marie Josephe GIROUARD.

Marie Modeste BASTARACHE died 13 August 1818 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA.

Louis Mouton, age 28, Salvator's younger brother, came with wife Marie-Modeste Bastarache, age 32, and infant daughter Anne-Charlotte. The Moutons most likely arrived by ship at New Orleans sometime in autumn of 1765 with one of the parties from Halifax.
