Louis Mouton, age 28, Salvator's younger brother, came with wife Marie-Modeste Bastarache, age 32, and infant daughter Anne-Charlotte. The Moutons most likely arrived by ship at New Orleans sometime in autumn of 1765 with one of the parties from Halifax.
