Jean-Baptiste  married  Louise FRECHET 6 February 1769 in Chambly, Province of Québec, Canada .  Louise FRECHET  was born 10 March 1751 in Saint-Nicolas, Lévis, Québec, Canada .  Louise was the child of Jean-Baptiste FRECHETTE and Madeleine LOIGNON.

Jean-Baptiste  married  (2) Marie-Desanges VERONNEAU 24 November 1800 in Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, Lower Canada .  Marie-Desanges VERONNEAU  was born 28 January 1759 in Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Desanges was the child of Jean-Baptiste VERONNEAU and Marie-Charlotte VIAU.

Jean-Baptiste MESSIER died 14 January 1813 in Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Lower Canada .
