They settled on Rivière-des-Habitants and Rivière-aux-Canards at Minas and had 12 children, including six sons who married into the LeBlanc, Girouard, Bourgeois, Savoie, Babin, Daigle, and Thibodeau families. Their six daughters married into the Melanson, Landry, Vincent, LeBlanc, and Hébert dit Manuel families."
