Joseph  married  Marie-Emelie MOQUIN 19 October 1829 in La Prairie, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 11 children.
Marie-Emelie MOQUIN  was born 24 July 1806 in Chambly, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-Chambly).  Marie-Emelie died 1 June 1844 in L'Acadie, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie).  Marie-Emelie was the child of Jacques MOQUIN and Marie-Angelique LUSSIER.

Joseph PATENAUDE died 10 September 1879 in Lowell, Massachusetts, USA.
