Jean-Baptiste DEMERS  was born 30 November 1730 in Pointe-Claire, Montréal, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joachim-de-la-Pointe-Claire).  Jean-Baptiste died 22 March 1794 in Lachine, Montréal, Québec, Canada (Saints-Anges-de-Lachine).  Jean-Baptiste was the child of Jean-Baptiste DEMERS (DUMAIS) and Marie-Anne LAUZON.
