Joseph  married  Françoise LEBLANC 24 October 1791 in Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 12 children.
Françoise LEBLANC  was born 30 August 1773 in Verchères, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-Xavier-de-Vercheres).  Françoise died 4 November 1847 in Napierville, Québec, Canada (Saint-Cyprien) (Saint-Édouard).  Françoise was the child of François LEBLANC and Marie-Angélique LEMAY.

Joseph ROY died 25 December 1831 in Napierville, Lower Canada .
