Joseph-Abraham DESMARAIS  was born 16 September 1729 in Verchères, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-Xavier-de-Vercheres).  Joseph-Abraham died 10 September 1820 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, Saint-Hyacinthe-le-Confesseur).  Joseph-Abraham was the child of Paul DESMARAIS dit MARETTE and Marie-Marguerite FONTAINE dite BIENVENUE.
