Sophie COUTURE was born 9 March 1821 in L'Acadie, Lower Canada . Sophie COUTURE was the child of Thomas COUTURE   and   Marie-Elisabeth-Isabelle GIROUX and the grandchild of: (paternal)  André COUTURE and Marie-Françoise DESTROISMAISONS dite PICARD (maternal)  Jean-Prisque GIROUX and Marie-Josephe DENEAU (DENIAU)

She married  Charles Edouard TREMBLAY 29 January 1839 in L'Acadie, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 9 children. Charles Edouard TREMBLAY  was born 13 July 1815 in La Prairie, Québec, Canada (St-Philippe) (St-Jean-François-Régis).  He died 26 October 1893 in Southbridge, Massachusetts, USA.  He was the son of Augustin TREMBLAY and Marie-Agathe DENIAU (DAGNEAU).

Sophie COUTURE died 20 November 1900 in Malone, New York, USA.
