Luce  married  François POUTRE dit LAVIGNE 10 July 1827 in Saint-Luc, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 8 children.
François POUTRE dit LAVIGNE  was born 9 October 1807 in L'Acadie, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie).  François died 23 December 1838 in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada (St-Johns) (Dorchester).  François was the child of Pierre POUTRE and Marguerite DUQUET.

Luce DEMERS died 30 April 1886 in Kankakee, Kankakee, Illinois, USA.
