Marie-Genevieve VIGEANT dite TAUPIER  was born 12 May 1773 in Chambly, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-Chambly).  Marie-Genevieve died 14 August 1824 in Iberville, Québec, Canada (Saint-Athanase-de-Bleury).  Marie-Genevieve was the child of Laurent VIGEANT dit TAUPIER and Marie-Anne BOILEAU.
