Joseph  married  Genevieve GAGNON 26 October 1772 in Baie-Saint-Paul, Province of Québec, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 3 children.
Genevieve GAGNON  was born 17 August 1750 in Baie-Saint-Paul, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul-de-Baie-Saint-Paul).  Genevieve died 28 February 1841 in Saint-Urbain, Charlevoix, Québec, Canada.  Genevieve was the child of Etienne GAGNON and Marie-Geneviève BOUCHARD.

Joseph LAVOIE died 9 November 1802 in Baie-Saint-Paul, Lower Canada .
