The religious ceremony took place on the following 12 October at Notre-Dame de Quebec."

'Ancestor Lussier made his first official presence in our Canadian archives on 22 September 1669, the day at Quebec, when before notary Becquet, he signed his marriage contract with Charlotte de La Marche. Charlotte, also a Parisian, was the daughter of the late Francois de La Marche and Suzanne Bourgeois...On 15 February 1671, Charlotte de La Marche was buried in the chapel at Boucherville, the first burial in that place. She had died following childbirth...'

'Jacques Lussier drowned in the Saint-Lawrence river, probably at the end of autumn 1712. His body was retrieved the following spring, in the territory of Sorel, where he was buried on 12 June 1713.'
