Biography
Jacques followed in the footsteps of his father, but in 1681 he was arrested with his partner René Faure in Montreal by the order of Count Frontenac for making the fur trade with the Dutch. He underwent a long trial and was imprisoned in Quebec. Finally pardoned by King Louis XIV, but bummed the trade runner of the woods, he'll settle in Boucherville in the lordship of Pierre Boucher, a friend of his father. In 1690, he is the head of a blacksmith taillandiers and wife Catherine Lussier, one of the first families in Boucherville. They give birth to their first son Jacques in 1693. Jacques marries Madeleine Dagenais in 1716 and went to live in hometown of his wife at the Sault Récollet...
