Tina Bruhn, 79, formerly of Halfway, Oregon, died on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at her son George's home in Baker City with her family at her side. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 2 p.m. Pine Haven Cemetery in Halfway, Oregon.

Clintina 'Tina' Veronica Cross was born on October 7, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio to Raymond and Veronica (Genosi) Cross. She attended grade school in Cleveland, then in Naples, Idaho and high school in Aurora, Oregon. She received her GED in 1987.

Along the way she met George Bruhn, they were married on April 2, 1957 in Naples, Idaho. Together they had four children; Marla, George Jr., Clifford and Jennifer.

In her early years, Tina worked as a waitress and maid. Later in life, she went to work for the Forest Service in Maintenance.

Tina enjoyed hiking, camping, reading and cooking for family and friends. She loved her pets, they were her 'best friends.' On one trip to the ocean, Tina wanted to find a complete...Read full story
