Mrs Babetta Koepke, 82, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ronald C. Allen of 32 Holmes Road last night after a short illness.
A native of Bavaria, Germany, Mrs Kopeka had lived in Pittsfield 66 years. She was a charter member of Zion Lutheran Church, and had been made an honorary member of its Ladies' Aid Society.
Survivors in addition to her daughter, with whom she lived, are a grandson, Ronald C. Allen, Jr., two brothers, Frank Pfadenhauer of Pittsfield and Charles Pfadenhauer of Hackettstown, N.J., and several nieces and nephews.
