Joseph  married  Françoise CASAVANT dite LADÉBAUCHE 20 February 1797 in Verchères, Lower Canada .  Françoise CASAVANT dite LADÉBAUCHE  was born 7 July 1777 in Verchères, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-Xavier-de-Vercheres).  Françoise died 10 May 1855 in Saint-Césaire, Québec, Canada (St-Cesaire).  Françoise was the child of Louis CASAVANT and Marie-Josephe SAVIGNAC.
