Joseph  married  Genevieve TRAHAN 20 January 1800 in L'Acadie, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 2 children.
Genevieve TRAHAN  was born 30 January 1783 in L'Acadie, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie).  Genevieve died 15 October 1808 in L'Acadie, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie).  Genevieve was the child of Jean-Baptiste TRAHAN and Marie Angelique Madeleine CLOUATRE.

Joseph PHANEUF died 8 September 1838 in Tilbury, Upper Canada.
