Joseph  married  Agathe GENDRON 25 October 1762 in Saint-François-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 8 children.
Agathe GENDRON  was born 28 May 1742 in Saint-François-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-de-Sales-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud).  Agathe died 16 April 1826 in Cap-St-Ignace, Québec, Canada (Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola).  Agathe was the child of Augustin GENDRON and Marie-Anne GAUMOND.

Joseph MARTIN died 22 March 1803 in Saint-Henri, Lower Canada .
