WORCESTER-Shirley Ann (Field) Dodd Gaboury, 93, died Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the Odd Fellows Home after a period of declining health.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Charles W. and Mary (Miller) Field, attended Worcester Public Schools and then continued to complete her Licensed Practical Nurse certification at the David Hale Fanning Trade School. Shirley worked as an LPN for many years throughout Worcester.

Shirley was predeceased by her husbands, Brian Dodd and Alfred Gaboury, two granddaughters, Amanda Sweeney and Michele Lisee, and her son-in-law, James Mitchell, Sr.

She leaves 11 children; James Dodd and wife Judy of Southborough, Pamela Lapensee and husband Ed of Worcester, Regina Mitchell and husband Fred of Worcester, Stephan Dodd and wife Susan of FL, Robert Dodd and wife Eileen of FL, Joel Dodd of Worcester, Paula Gardner and husband Paul of Whitinsville, Kathleen Armstrong and husband Paul of FL, Randy Dodd of Worcester, Sandra Valinsky and husband...Read full story
