Joseph  married  Genevieve TAILLON 23 August 1824 in Terrebonne, Lower Canada .  Genevieve TAILLON  was born 28 January 1794 in Sainte-Rose, Laval, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Rose-de-Lima).  Genevieve died 18 July 1834 in Sainte-Thérèse, Québec, Canada (Blainville).  Genevieve was the child of Joseph MICHEL dit TAILLON and Marguerite LABELLE.

Joseph GALARNEAU died 3 December 1841 in Sainte-Thérèse, Canada East .
