Joseph-Jacques  married  Louise HETU 24 January 1814 in Lavaltrie, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 4 children.
Louise HETU  was born 6 September 1778 in Lanoraie, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-Lanoraie).  Louise died 3 February 1851 in Lanoraie, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-Lanoraie).  Louise was the child of Pierre HETU dit LAFLEUR and Marie-Anne LAURENCE.

Joseph-Jacques TARTE died 13 June 1859 in Lanoraie, Canada East .
