Jean-Baptiste TARTRE (LETARTRE)  was born 6 January 1744 in Saint-Sulpice, Québec, Canada.  Jean-Baptiste died 19 October 1806 in Lanoraie, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-Lanoraie).  Jean-Baptiste was the child of Jean-Baptiste LETARTRE (LETARTE) and Jeanne PERRAULT dite CHATEAUGUAY.
