Louis DESMARAIS  was born 24 January 1765 in Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada.  Louis died 8 August 1834 in Contrecœur, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Trinité-de-Contrecoeur).  Louis was the child of Michel DESMARAIS and Marie-Josephte BROSSEAU dite LAFLEUR.
