Susan A. Anderson, 71, of East Windsor, beloved wife of Donald Anderson, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022. Born in Hartford, CT on November 5, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Mabry and Shirley (Blessing) Simons and grew up in West Hartford, moving to East Windsor in 1978. Susan graduated from the Hartford Hospital School of Nursing in 1971 and started her nursing career at Hartford Hospital. Susan worked for 50 years, the majority of the time at Fresh River Healthcare, formerly Kettlebrook and Prospect Hill Nursing Home. She was an avid reader and loved to travel to the casino and play BINGO. Besides her husband Donald, she leaves 2 children, Greg Anderson and his fiance Amanda Kelley, and Sarah Anderson; 3 grandchildren, Timothy Roy, and Jeremy and Alexander Anderson; and her brother, Scott Simons and his wife Arleen.
