Madeleine  married  Pierre-Amable SAUVÉ 18 November 1766 in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Montréal, Province of Québec, Canada .  Pierre-Amable SAUVÉ  was born 16 September 1732 in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Montréal, Québec, Canada.  Pierre-Amable died 13 June 1778 in Vaudreuil, Québec, Canada (Vaudreuil-Dorion).  Pierre-Amable was the child of Pierre SAUVÉ and Louise RANGER dite LAVIOLETTE.

Madeleine  married  (2) Jean-Charles MIVILLE 17 June 1779 in Vaudreuil, Province of Québec, Canada .  Jean-Charles MIVILLE  was born abt. 1737 in Québec Province, Canada (Quebec).  Jean-Charles died 2 January 1784 in Vaudreuil, Québec, Canada (Vaudreuil-Dorion).  Jean-Charles was the child of Francois MIVILLE and Angeline BEAULNE.

Madeleine  married  (3) Etienne PERRON 20 November 1786 in Vaudreuil, Province of Québec, Canada .  Etienne PERRON  was born 13 January 1735 in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-Xavier-de-la-Petite-Rivière).  Etienne was the child of Jacques PERRON and Marguerite SIMARD.

Madeleine DUFAULT dite LAMARCHE died 8 August 1802 in Rigaud, Lower Canada .

Did You Know? Québec Généalogie - What is a 'dit/dite' name?  When the first settlers came to Québec from France it was a custom to add a 'dit' nickname to the surname. The English translation of 'dit' is 'said'. The Colonists of Nouvelle France added 'dit' names as distinguishers. A settler might have wanted to differentiate their family from their siblings by taking a 'dit' name that described the locale to which they had relocated. The acquiring of a 'dit' name might also be the result of a casual adoption, whereby the person wanted to honor the family who had raised them. Another reason was also to distinguish themselves by taking as a 'dit' name the town or village in France from which they originated. This custom ended around 1900 when people began using only one name, either the 'dit' nickname or their original surname.
