Marguerite THIBODEAU was the child of Charles Alexis THIBODEAU   and   Anne Marie MELANÇON (MELANSON) and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Jean THIBODEAU and Marguerite HÉBERT (maternal)  Philippe MELANÇON (MELANSON) and Catherine Marie DUGAS

Marguerite was deported as part of the Acadian Exile / Grand Derangement around 1755.

Marguerite  married  Joseph POIRIER abt. 1759 in Acadia, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 1 child. Joseph POIRIER  was born abt. 1736 in Acadia, Canada (Acadie).  Joseph died 8 April 1826 in Mont-Saint-Grégoire, Le Haut-Richelieu, Québec, Canada (Saint-Gregoire-le-Grand).  Joseph was the child of Joseph POIRIER and Madeleine DOIRON.
