Marguerite was deported as part of the Acadian Exile / Grand Derangement around 1755.

She married  Joseph POIRIER abt. 1759 in Acadia, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 1 child. Joseph POIRIER  was born abt. 1736 in Acadia, Canada (Acadie).  He died 8 April 1826 in Mont-Saint-Grégoire, Le Haut-Richelieu, Québec, Canada (Saint-Gregoire-le-Grand).  He was the son of Joseph POIRIER and Madeleine DOIRON.

Marguerite THIBODEAU died 16 July 1813 in Mont-Saint-Grégoire, Le Haut-Richelieu, Lower Canada .
