This 4th Grondin child became the wife of Jean Hayot on 17 February 1695, and was the mother of 6 children. After the death of her husband, she married a second time, to Michel Chartier (1667-1750), former seigneur or la riviere Decoudet (or riviere Saint-Jean), in Acadia. He even built a fort at Passamaquoddy. Expelled by the English in 1704, Michel went to live in New France. He was remarried on 15 April 1722 at Quebec to Sainte Grondin. She gave him a son, Joseph-Marie, who did not survive."
