René was deported as part of the Acadian Exile / Grand Derangement around 1755.

He married  Marie HÉBERT 18 December 1715 in Port Royal, Acadia .  The couple had (at least) 7 children. Marie HÉBERT  was born abt. 1695 in Annapolis Royal, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada / Port Royal, Acadia.  She died 30 October 1778 in Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada.  She was the daughter of Antoine HÉBERT and Jeanne CORPORON.

    Youngest son René, born in c1685, married Marie, daughter of Antoine Hébert, at Port-Royal in December 1715. René also remained at Port-Royal. He and Marie had seven children, including a son who married into the Célestin dit Bellemère and Blouin families.
