Josephte ROY dite DESJARDINS  was born 15 September 1765 in Kamouraska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Louis) (Saint-Alexandre).  Josephte died 28 July 1851 in Saint-André, Kamouraska, Québec, Canada (St-Andre).  Josephte was the child of Alexandre ROY dit DESJARDINS and Marie-Josephe PLOURDE.
