Louis  married  Amable MARTIN dite ST-JEAN 5 February 1821 in St-Polycarpe, Soulanges, Quebec, Canada .  Amable MARTIN dite ST-JEAN  was born 24 October 1769 in Les Cèdres, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-Soulanges Les Cedres).  Amable died 5 April 1844 in St-Polycarpe, Soulanges, Bas-Canada, Canada.  Amable was the child of François-Amable MARTIN dit ST-JEAN and Elisabeth-Isabelle LEROUX.

Louis DESFORGES died 25 February 1843 in Coteau-du-Lac, Canada East .
