Antoine GILBERT dit COMTOIS  was born 19 January 1740 in La Visitation-de-l'Île-Dupas, Québec, Canada (Isle Dupas).  Antoine died 9 January 1813 in Saint-Cuthbert, Québec, Canada.  Antoine was the child of Louis GILBERT dit COMTOIS and Anne JACQUES.
