Louis  married  Marguerite-Francoise LEMIEUX 17 April 1730 in Cap-St-Ignace, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 11 children.
Marguerite-Francoise LEMIEUX  was born 14 September 1710 in Cap-St-Ignace, Québec, Canada (Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola).  Marguerite-Francoise died 31 January 1782 in L'Islet, Québec, Canada (L'Islet-sur-Mer) (Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours).  Marguerite-Francoise was the child of Louis LEMIEUX and Geneviève FORTIN.

Louis BERNIER died 1 March 1794 in L'Islet, Lower Canada .
