Marriage notes:
"There was a marriage contract, signed through a private agreement, between Francois Hebert and Anne Fauconnier, on 8 September 1644 at Mount-aux-Malades. The bride's dowry was 30 livres. The marriage banns between the two principals were published on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays in September 1644. The parents of the bride and groom were not named. However, the registry of Mont-aux-Malades reveals that a Fauconnier-Hebert son was baptized there on 7 January 1647. His godfather and godmother were Nicolas Fauconnier from 'Saint-Patrix' and Marguerite Fauconnier."

"Francois Hebert and Anne Fauconnier were married at Mont-au-Malades on 5 October 1644. In France, the couple brought twin daughters into the world, Anne and Jeanne, born on 9 January 1645, and died a few days later; and Nicolas, baptized on 7 January 1647. Five children were born in New France: Guillaume, Jeanne, Renee-Madeleine, Louis, and Jacques."
