François was an immigrant to Canada, arriving by 1692.

François  married  Angélique JACOB 18 February 1692 in L'Ange-Gardien, Montmorency, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 11 children.
Angélique JACOB  was born 22 November 1671 in L'Ange-Gardien, Montmorency, Québec, Canada.  Angélique died 7 January 1759 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Québec, Canada (Beaupre).  Angélique was the child of Étienne JACOB and Jeanne FRESSEL.

François MEUNIER died abt. 1726 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Canada, New France .
