Eleazer was the 7th of 9 children born to Benanuel and Grace Spalding Salisbury on Jan. 4, 1798. His youth he spent on the farm in Scipio Ny. There he met and married about 1818, the daughter of John and Catherine Davis Jenney-Beersheba. She was born in Fair Haven, Bristol County, Mass.. Beersheba 1800-1828. Eleazer later married Urania 1830 or 1831.
