Pierre-Joseph  married  Marguerite FRÉCHETTE 22 October 1753 in Saint-Nicolas, Lévis, Canada, New France .  Marguerite FRÉCHETTE  was born 4 August 1729 in Saint-Nicolas, Lévis, Québec, Canada .  Marguerite died 10 February 1763 in Saint-Antoine-de-Tilly, Québec, Canada.  Marguerite was the child of Jean-Baptiste FRÉCHETTE and Marie-Ursule ROUSSEAU.

Pierre-Joseph MARTINEAU died 4 April 1816 in Yamaska, Lower Canada .
