Joseph-Marie ELIE (HELIE) dit BRETON  was born 20 June 1747 in Berthier-sur-Mer, Québec, Canada (Berthier-en-Bas) (Berthier).  Joseph-Marie was the child of Nicolas ELIE (HELIE) dit BRETON and Marie-Anne BILODEAU.

Marie-Genevieve FORTIER died 25 June 1808 in Beloeil, Lower Canada .
